  • Our dust analysis focuses on five molds commonly associated with water damaged buildings and mold-related illness. This is a HERTSMI-2 test processed by our partner lab Envirobiomics.

    Species tested:

    • Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold)

  • Dust testing uses qPCR (MSQPCR), the same DNA-based method used in published mold research. It quantifies each individual species and reports your HERTSMI-2 score, so results can better reflect what is in your environment compared to air samples, which only capture what happens to be airborne the day of the test.
